TCHS Visual Arts Magnet is a proud sponsor of creativity and innovation. Students in The Visual Arts program are continuously striving to reaching new goals. Each student is given proper materials to help better their craft. Visual Arts Magnet provides students with the skills and materials needed to unravel transcendent artistic talents. TCHS Visual Arts students are the future of the art world. In addition, each Visual Arts Magnet student is required to pay $150 in magnet dues. Magnet dues are used to supply students with materials such as paint, paper, paintbrushes, etc. Failure to submit magnet dues will result in exclusion from magnet activities (i.e. Visual Arts Magnet Banquet).

Ceramics Class is a hands on session that focuses on sculpting and crafting. It allows the students to understand how mold objects to their imagination, thus reaching a higher learning. The students learn how to use professional sculpting tools. They learn certain skills such as stippling, pinching and glazing. Students in the past have created pieces such as fine pottery.With his Knowledge they can in the future be able to put it to artistic use.
